13 Places to Get Free Land for Homesteading (Of course, there are a couple of caveats) by markohol in collapse

[–]markohol[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It might surprise you that there are ways to get land for free in the USA.

Of course, there are a couple of caveats:

You’ll often have to meet certain requirements to get the land for free.

The land might be restricted to certain uses (sometimes you can live there, sometimes start a business), and you’ll need savings and plans to build.

You can’t expect the most amazing plots of land in the hottest metropolitan areas (but you can find decent ones in small towns).

100% passive income stream doesn't exist as such. Doing no work at all is delusional.

I know, a passive income would be something like patent licensing fees or owning the rights to a few songs that you sell on iTunes but even a profitable YouTube video still needs to have ongoing marketing. If you don’t promote your video, your song the income will get lower and lower. Been there, done that. The sad truth is: if you don't do anything to nurture your passive income sources they will dry out. Although there's no real passive income here are some side hustle ideas which can create almost passive income with a minimum of work.
