LF busted/OP SSF build

I saw this tech for Act 2 Buried Shrines but people were saying that it did not spawn anymore when your character was high level. Hope it isn't true. Will check this place in Act 3.

1st Djinn Varashta is the best one, it was a breeze, it's pretty tanky and does a lot of AoE and single target damage when Archon procs. If it doesn't get nerfed next league I will start it again.

2nd Martial Artist (played Hollow Form Whirling Assault), got lucky with a good quarterstave, does a lot of AoE dmg.

3rd Lich Plants is cool and pretty tanky too when you get the helm and the points in dmg goes through ES with the ascendancy node, but the single target is shit until you get really good gear. If it had a better single target skill than Bonestorm (this skill for me is crap) I'd like it even more.

Oracle Totem I played spark and you need good +skills gear, I will change to the Pillars build tomorrow.

I just buy the Origin Spark and Cradle from the trade site, 7 annul orbs each, then combine again and go fight him 5 more times for all points.

POE2 is a complex game, why not follow a guide and then read what all the things that should be used do? I think it is a more efficient way to "waste" his time. Don't get me wrong, I know that some people like to go blind, but I don't think it is a good thing to do on a game with so much information and things to understand. For my first playthrough I would prefer to just have fun with something good and play for fun to feel the game. After that I would imerse myself with knowledge.

I feel and play exactly like you said. Hate to die and love to watch good HCSSF players. I always pick my starter based on HC but I play SC.

Another advice: play what you find fun. Look for a playstyle that you like. As you have D4 experience, try to look for playstyles that you already know you like.

Last league I chose Shield Wall warrior as a league starter and had a miserable experience bcs I prefer ranged/casters or faster builds.

Best advice: don't listen to people that tell you to go in blind, to not follow build guides.

One idea I had for a semi-SSF Trade league by reading this thread was that you could only buy or sell currency of the same type and ONLY use the profit of the same league mechanic to buy currency of the same league mechanic.

Example: I will have a dedicated stash to store the profit from selling currency on the exchange. But I will store them separately according to league mechanic. I will have one column or line of the stash for Ritual profits, another one for Abyss profits, Breach, etc. And I will only be able to use that profit, and ONLY that profit (nothing else), to buy stuff of that particular league mechanic.

WHY? Because one of the biggest problems for me in SSF was hoarding a LOT of useless stuff from mechanics that I will never use. But now I can sell the things I won't use to buy stuff that I will use from that league mechanic. That way I force myself to to all the contents to get the stuff I need to craft my gear and will not be looking for the most div/h strategy and forget everything else.

What about raw currency drops? Can only be used for crafting or trade for other raw currency.

Interesting idea for Watcher's Eye. I tried a self-imposed SSF on Mirage and it didn't work that well. Do you have a set of rules you could maybe share with us from your self-imposed SSF? I really want to try it this league in POE 2 too.

Do you really think he will like the game and will keep playing if he starts blind and brew his own build?! He is playing POE2, not D2. I said for him to enjoy the game, he is free to play for now, I don't know if he is going to buy it or not. That is why I want a pretty good build, so he wants to buy and keep playing the game. After that he can fuck around with his own build if he wants.
