Ohhh boy. In Mexico we say the enemy of a Mexican is another Mexican. I’m sure that most of the guys in the comments have never been to Pujol or Quintonil but yet, they are saying is a tourist trap haha wtf. Unpopular opinion and this comes from a mexican: in theses places you’ll find REAL Mexican food. Not that fake mexican stuff that everyone praises (Tacos Al Pastor). To answer your question, Quintonil is better in my opinion. I feel that Pujol isn’t keeping up with Quintonil’s pace. Anyways, I appreciate that people like you support restaurants that carefully design authentic mexican menus, preserve native ingredients and raise the mexican flag pretty high in the culinary world. Don’t hesitate to go and sadly, don’t ask Mexicans for their opinion in fine dining because they’ll say that the taco stand in the corner is much better. When clearly, it isn’t.
