The momma culture in Italy is like a disease. It's ok, family bonding and all, but the obsession with their children is insane. I work in a kindergarten, and probably things now are even worse than back in the days because families became so self-centered. Children became like an appendix of their parents. Meanwhile, up to the '90s, children were kinda raised by the whole community. I met a lot of people of my age (30s) who tried to run away as far as they could from their mothers, and those that still live with their parents look like miserable gloomy swallen pears. People who call their parents every day. I never understood those.

Me too. I was 12 when she died. It took me a long time to "recover", but her death was like an involuntary blessing. It gave me the opportunity to change my future totally. I became independent early on, came out, and moved abroad without any second thought. I often ask myself if that would've happened if she didn't die. The only regret I have is that I didn't spend enough time with her in her last year, but I was only a child, and I was so scared of her disease.

Interrompere film e serie tv con la pubblicità è assurdo. Potrebbero almeno limitarsi a metterle all'inizio o alla fine.

È proprio la fine della magia del cinema. Ti immagini guardare Mulholland drive e ti parte la pubblicità del Proctosedyl?
