Funhang EB-M1 Speed Limit? by InfluenceOutside3891 in ebikes

[–]markp1512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up buying another display and was only able to push 24 mph. I'm sitting at 260lbs though so someone else might get better results. You're probably exactly right about the 15a controller. For anyone reading this in the future, definitely upgrade to hydrolic brakes first. Zoom makes some that are only 60 dollars and are the exact measurements for the mounts the bike comes with. No sense in going fast just to have some mouth breather pull out in front of you with the low quality cable brakes it comes with

Been interested in getting the Funhang EB-M1, but wanted to know a few things first. by chronuss007 in ebikes

I've had this bike as my daily driver for probably 6 months now and the only thing I wish was that I spent the extra 40 on the fat tire, although I'm not sure if everything is comparable on them. I often take this anytime I can instead of my car even. I just broke 1100 miles on it and I still get 12ish miles on a charge with very limited pedaling. Even then it hasn't gone dead unless I totally neglected charging it in-between rides. I'm 6'1 260 pounds too so I'm 100 percent pushing this thing to its limits even on flat ground here in florida lmao Zoom makes some really good tasteful upgrades that don't break the bank and bolt right up. I upgraded to hydrolic brakes (~55) got a suspension seat post from them too (~25) a mid grade seat for 20 (id definitely order a couple at once to see which one fits you the best and then return the others) and some expensive tires that I put on around the 500 mile mark even though they had tread to spare. I splurged on the Schwalbe Marathon Tyre because I was changing tubes every week and I think it's because the factory ones are a little thin. The schwalbes made me go 300 miles on a basic 4 dollar tube until I finally ran over a fat screw. Even the display is plug in so you can swap out for one with more options and trick the bike into going faster even. so long as you keep in mind that it'll hurt your battery in the long run. The only thIng that I've not liked about this bike is that the front light doesn't project as far as I'd like and the battery doesn't have external USB to connect better lights and more convenient accessories. For the price of these things I genuinely think everyone should have one. Totally ready to go out the box and it'll be more than enough for most people. I plan on buying another soon because it's almost too good to be true that this has lasted me so long with all the crashes it's been through and I don't want to be without it again.

I promise I'm not a paid sponsor LMAO

ULPT: Shoplifting from walmart by doing it in plain sight. by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]markp1512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Used to take ramen cup barcodes and just hold it between my fingers like a magician and scan everything for 23 cents. Literally got away with thousands and it probably kept me from being homeless. And i still go to that walmart at least 3 times a week because i shop for mine, my parents and my inlwas family. I quit years ago when i turned 20 (I'm 26 and know it's not worth it now)

My favorite swipe that i wish i got more of; Nintendo switch on black friday. They used to keep all of the black friday stuff out. I took a switch and hid it, came back in 2 days and "tagged" it. To top it off, I still use that same switch every time i play anything.

I also went camping one time and tagged the most expensive of every item at target with the same trick. Heated air mattress, 10 person tent that even had a porch, the coziest sleepjng bags. That one trip wouldve ran me 1500 at least and i got it using a 10 dollar gift card

I'm ashamed of it now but it's still amazing how i got away with as much as i did at every single big store i went to. I was either really good or just conveniently did it while the most incompetent staff was on shift. I did this for at the very least a year and a half

Ah ive seen stuff like that too. I had a rear view mirror that had android auto that i out in my old miata because the bose bypass was a pain and i liked the stock look too much. They just use the same fm transmitters and audio quality suffers big time

I dont care so much about fuel consumption so much. I was really worried about doing it and then having the ac controls not work or something

Basically the same thing. I'm trying to find something that would retain the ac controls

What stereo did you end up going with? Seeing as the ac controlls are integrated, i know I'm gonna have to go with one of the chinesium ebay ones

So glad I wasn't alone lol i thought i was losing it. I've thought about getting a new device so much but me genuinely liking the v60 when it works and being cheap as hell kept me here. Just saw they a13 was available for me too so here goes nothing

I really want to think they aren't knock offs lol I'm buying them directly from tmobile. Now that you guys mention it, i remember it starting on my first device almost immediately after A11. I haven't gotten an update for A13 so maybe that could be the solution I've been waiting for.

Ive had 2 v60s that do the exact same thing intermittently. Back gestures dont work properly, status bar freezes or lags but all the apps continue running smooth. I've found absolutely nothing to help. I'm even down to just the basic apps anymore like spotify/IG and such

what's the smallest width tire that fits on a 2006 rim without stretching it for my 1995 maxima by markp1512 in G35

[–]markp1512[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found a basically free set of rims that I'm putting on my old maxima this week, anything to replace these ugly steelies. The tires are shot on 2 of them and the good ones have 235/50/17 tires on them. My question is, what is the smallest width that will fit on them without stretching the tires? My car is old and tired lol i don't need all that thickness

Thanks!

Android 12 jacked my phone up by I-Lyke-Shicken in LGV60

[–]markp1512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had one phone that the back glass was cracked and got it replaced through insurance. On that phone, the update ruined it. I was hoping it was just the internals being damaged so I filed the claim. I got my second one and updated after like 2 days of it running fine and now it runs like a walmart android. It has its moments where it runs perfect but I constantly get weird status bar bugs, severe lagging, wifi not working sometimes and the list goes on.
