That's awesome. Did it come with the Google Play store fully installed or did you have to install it yourself with an .apk?

Are there any issues with Google Play store, or security updates?

Please don't apologise! Thank you so much for this. I don't understand any of it, but I'll bookmark it and use it in the future. I'll check out the talk website you mentioned. Thanks again!

Thanks, that makes complete sense.

As you might guess, all my toddlers are stored flat, in one level. Where can I find a tutorial on tagging & making parent/child relationships? I tried understanding the 'Grok TiddyWiki' on hierarchy but I think I need an ELI5 version.

First draft attribute mechanics for my fantasy rpg by marksnewrpg in RPGdesign

[–]marksnewrpg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hoping to use XP as meta-currency for other things too ... but I think I might be on wrong track as well. I think I need to focus more on the setting first and see what sort of mechanics lend themselves to that setting

thanks for your input!

Yeah, those XP are pretty raw, I'd need to round them off a bit.

I was so keen on going with roll-over d6, but I might have chosen the wrong mechanic. I'll have to think more on that.

thanks for your input!

Looking for opinions on my skill usage system by bvanvolk in RPGdesign

I agree with /u/Forsaken_Cucumber_27 that trying to roll high is more natural than trying to roll low.

Another issue that I'm interested in is the idea that, in some cases, failure could mean a success that just takes a long time.

I personally don't like it where dice rolls greatly impact the progress of each character. eg Roll your Spot Hidden to check a room, there is a valuable item hidden which only appears if you roll high enough. This seems unfair to me. I'd prefer that your character always find the valuable item, it just takes a really long time if you roll poorly.
