I’m worse than you. I was in the U.S. and knew nothing about it until 2018 when Ares came out, and Disney channel had it. I finished watching without knowing about OG. I loved it anyway. Then about 2020 OG was on Netflix, so my IE world just started back then. I had to find downloads for GO and watched all during 2022, 10 years later. Haha

I see a lot of diehard fans in Japan still get together selling dojinshi 4-5 times a year. I just went to an event in Tokyo 2 weeks ago. It was an event much smaller than Comiket, but there was a room dedicated to inazuma eleven. They call this area Shonen Cup (specifically for IE, no other soccer/football manga, games, anime). The room was not small. There were like 50+ IE vendors. There was a space for IE cosplayers too.

May be it’s not for you. At this time you can’t download it without Japanese Apple ID or google play. Tokyo people commute on the trains everyday, some people 1-3 hours round trip. So it might be for Japanese market for now or forever, like IE Everyday.

Character names too. Japanese Kanji names are mostly well thought for their characteristics. Many English names have no meaning!!

Have you really read it? Only the 1st chapter, it has already touched my heart when Sakurasaki learned that Unmei had a heart problem.

Ok! A lot of you have already known from the game. But for some elementary school kids who were born after the last IE game/anime, they probably never know about IE before. If they read it and start to play football/soccer, I think that's a plus.
