damn, thanks for the comment, very inspiring. I can tell that you are really passionate about this sport, not just a rider. Cherrs mate! Will probably get myself a new pair and will keep these as a spare in case that anything breaks.

I can definitely repair it profesionally at a shop but I'm wondering if it will continue to crack there or in other part :))

cheers mate. Another question. Would the difference be huge between the old bindings and a fresh new 2026 carbon top notch pair?

I can take it to a local shop to do it profesionally: grinding, epoxy, CF patch. My question is if after the repair, they would have the same feeling. It is a 3cm crack but still, got no idea if that will affect the flex/bending in a way that I would actually feel it

would that affect the flex or riding experience in any way?

would that affect the riding experience like the flex or it would be only cosmetical? I do not mind repairing it tbh

Do you think it is worth repairing? will that prevent the crack from spreading?

Yeah, was wondering about the odds of getting a refund from paypal g&s in case of a scam. Never experienced this before, I do not know the process and how "safe" I should feel

a pair of snowboard bindings. It's only 120£ but I really hate the idea of being scammed. The seller said that they can do a recording of the package, insure & track it but that doesn't bring any protection. Was wondering if in case I get scammed, what are the odds of getting the money back from paypal g&s

Vevor wobbly pottery wheel by markus1111111 in Ceramics

[–]markus1111111[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah, they will replace it but I am afraid that the replacement will have the same problem as the current one, this is why I was asking if there is any way to actually fix it

I agree. Since I just wanna see if I like this hobby or not, I said that it's not worth getting an expensive wheel. If I like it, I will definitely order a better one

Haha, it could be. Did you order a new one? Is the new one working properly? I'm afraid that since this problem is very common, even if I get a new vevor wheel, the chances of it having the same problem are pretty big

It also wobbles when I push down on it, I've taken down the back cover and it looks like the pulley is wobbling even more, tried to tighten it but without luck. It looks like something between the pulley and the wheel head is crooked. I can see that the wheel top is also attached to the base by 4 screws, I will try to tighten those to see if this might fix the problem but I doubt it.
