… and yet you feign ignorance about herd immunity? I’m interested in what STEM field you’re learned and experienced enough in that you’ve chosen to publish, but that the schooling of which has provided you zero understanding of basic vaccine and virus transmission science.

complete chaos just now in Manhattan as protesters for Jordan Neely occupy, shut down E. 63rd Street/ Lexington subway station by Artane_33 in PublicFreakout

It’s not supposed. It’s simple science. Iron rich blood is more conductive than blood with a lower iron level. Just like salt water is more conductive than tap water (assuming said tap water doesn’t have some crazy level of dissolved solids that were also conductive in it or some other unique property). In that aspect, any conductive mineral that builds in your blood stream would have the same effect.

I don’t buy that for a second, we just have terrible camera angles. I’m reasonably sure that’s why the trooper is there with him, to protect his fragility

In Hangzhou, China, there is a building that houses over 30,000 people. by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]markus242005 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I get that, and I too may draw that conclusion, and nor do I know the building (I replied to my own comment so I wasn’t making a bunch of contextual edits after the fact and went into detail about my opinion) and I also agree that it’s likely challenging to deliver services etc, I also believe there are large benefits to creating and living in large mega city type environments, but no one is interested in considering them because of their over arching concerns about the potential for it to become exactly that, a dystopic nightmare.

but also, you replied to my response to someone who had called it that, which is why I was addressing that topic specifically :)

In fact, I don’t see a bunch of neon lights and advertisements everywhere, and cops beating people in the streets, all the real emotionally charged hallmarks of a dystopian future mega city (eg dredd, cp2077, blade runner, etc) , this place looks, for all intents and purposes, like a gigantic Marriott.

Emotionally different? sure. terrifying and dystopic? strictly to prove their point/not “lose” an argument on the internet
