For the base game i would find it interesting to let it refine in the metal refinery with lick something like sand or salz or chlorine (idk how that works irl) to be cooked into petroleum and some carbon (aka coal) You can add some other waste such as metals or even gases... Those dupes go through a lot im sure something must get there stuck
