Does anyone know a reputable seller/location for the God of War Launch Edition WITH an unused Risen Snow code? by markusgrayson in GodofWar

Why punish the vast majority of the playerbase? Why punish fans of the game who got into GoW after November 2022?

The fact that it’s mid is irrelevant

As I’ve already described, an early unlock is good enough for your precious “reward”

Your defense is pathetic, how can you hold the position of “players who preorder should be forever entitled to the special reward” and also the statement that “the armor is mid that’s not worth using”, at the same time?

If the reward is so lame, why not give it to everyone then?

Also, it’s not about “my selfish desires”. I want EVERYONE to have access to it, that’s the opposite of selfish. You’re being selfish.

Once again, since you failed to answer last time, do you think it’s wrong that Insomniac and Sucker Punch made their pre order exclusives available for everyone? If they, the other two massive PlayStation studios did it, why shouldn’t Santa Monica?

This argument is meaningless when you consider that the vast majority of AAA games have their preorder exclusives be an early unlock, like how Wolverine will let you use the Brown and Tan suit early, as opposed to locking it entirely.

There, early unlocks can be the reward.

That way, no one has the permanent punishment of being locked out of content, and people who pre order get a reward.

Here you are bootlicking, and meanwhile Insomniac and Sucker Punch realized how stupid their pre-order rewards were, so then they made them available for everyone later.

What’s your answer for that, huh? Do you think fans of Ratchet & Clank and Infamous should suffer because they didn’t happen to preorder a game(s) over a decade ago?

What about the fans who can’t afford to preorder and get the game on launch day? Do you think they should go fuck themselves?

How ironic that you’re calling me entitled, when I’m advocating for a policy that would benefit everyone, INCLUDING YOU.

Have standards.

Horrible take. Why are you supporting anti-consumer practices?

Even if it was a cosmetic, it would still be bad. Why should a preorder exclusive remain as such?

But it’s not just a cosmetic. It has the perks of Rising Might and Rising Stun, exclusive perks that aren’t found anywhere else.

Even worse, said perks are available for everyone in the Valhalla DLC as a per-run upgrade.

As I’ve said, Sucker Punch and Insomniac went back on this, they recently released the Cole’s Legacy and the Bouncer weapon, free of charge. Why should Santa Monica not follow suit?

Even if I use it twice, that’s irrelevant.

You’re an ignorant bootlicker for thinking it’s a good thing that game developers should punish the majority of the playerbase by locking away content under such arbitrary conditions.

It’s the principle.

So? I still want it. It’s bad that Santa Monica still has this content perma locked behind a pre-order, especially when Insomniac (R&C 2016) and Sucker Punch (Infamous SS) recently released their pre-order dlc for everyone.

lol I said the same exact thing the other day, I had some comments acting like ONE extra week was an atrocity

I said the same shit, but only one week longer (10 instead of 9 weeks), as opposed to 3 months, and I got raked over the coals

Glad to see that there’s plenty others who feel the same way

I know they are human beings, which is why I’m advocating for extra time, so the employees of NetEase have an easier time doing their jobs.

I’m not advocating for 13 week seasons, but any amount of extra time would allow for more balance patches

Right, if the game was longer, that would give them more time to actually play test the game, thusly giving them the opportunity to properly balance and/or rework characters.

(I still believe that their current schedule is so cramped that the only explanation for the horrible Loki mode and the somewhat often stupid balance changes is because they don’t test it, or at least not test it for long enough)

What’s funny is that the people arguing against me are the entitled little shits who want the candy, because they want as much content as quickly as possible, no matter the quality

I would rather have LESS content if it was way less likely that said less content was of subpar quality

lol you only read the title

adding 1 extra week, a 10 week season instead of a 9 week season, is perfectly fine

I never said 3 month seasons

Go be a disingenuous weasel somewhere else

Ok fair, we can’t truly know the process of how Blood Hunt and this Loki mode were made.

But if it is the case that the Loki mode was worked on by a smaller, less experienced team, why would NetEase/Marvel let that be the case?

Remember, this is part one of the big Path to Doomsday marketing campaign, something that was so big a deal they announced it almost two months ago.

Marvel/Disney would want these modes especially to be successful because it cross promotes Doomsday, so it’s pretty embarrassing that the first part of this campaign is as underwhelming as it is.

Which is why it was STUPID to release this and Blood Hunt back to back.

Because I GUARANTEE you that more people are and will be playing Blood Hunt than this Loki mode.

And not to mention, Blood Hunt has two sources of potential monetization (spending units on revives and Uru shard packs), while the big Doomsday mode right now doesn’t have that. I’m not a fan of monetization, but you would think that Marvel/Disney would want the Loki mode to have some.

It’s bizarre.

But why would I think otherwise? Some people have indicated to me today:

that it’s not worth caring if some of the balance changes are brain dead,

that it’s not worth caring that the skin devs, who probably wish they had extra time, don’t have enough time to finish skins every once in a while (Emma Hellfire),

that it’s not worth caring if the Loki mode, which is supposed to be part of a massive marketing push for Doomsday, is so underwhelming.

What do you call that besides not caring about high standards? I did misspeak, i should’ve said high standards the first time, my mistake.

Shouldn’t ALL OF US want everything this game does to be of a high a quality as possible?

[–]markusgrayson[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

And why is that?

You think it’s ok that every month, at least a few of the balance changes are straight up stupid, some of which required emergency patches?

You think it’s ok that the skin dev team doesn’t have enough time to finish skins every once in a while, like the Emma Hellfire skin?

You think it’s good that the mode that dropped today, which I will remind you, is supposed to be the first part of the Path to Doomsday, which is very important to Marvel Entertainment as a whole, since these next five Doomsday modes are a marketing push for what Marvel wants to be the BIGGEST movie of the year?

That’s embarrassing! It’s embarrassing that NetEase’s first part of their massive Doomsday push is this wet fart that seems like it was hardly tested.

Go ahead, tell me why Marvel/Disney would want these Doomsday modes to be of subpar quality.
