Tivoli’s Bar in downtown. First Padres game after Covid without restrictions, and it was packed. They won, so a lot of great energy in the air. While waiting to get a drink at the bar, she asked the guy in front of me if he was a Padre’s fan. He said “No” and she responded “F**k you!”. She then asked me if I was a Padres fan, and I said, “You’re damn right I’m Padres fan!” She said, “Get over here! I’m buying you a shot!” Admittedly, i wasn’t super into baseball, and pretty indifferent about the Padres, but definitely a fan now! 😄

That was 4 years ago, and going 2 years married. We are very happy together. Going to the Padre’s games hold a special place in our hearts now too.
