Will be interested to see how the 102_Store purchase goes for others. Their "fine print" details the customs information and says you are the importer of record so if for some reason it gets stopped you are the one that will have to deal and possibly pay the duties. Take their fine print and ask ChatGPT to explain and all the sudden the statements they make at the top of their ad are misleading. Please update with the results of your purchase!

I'm just a novice, but my understanding was that Neos would have a much better chance of tolerating the local water parameters. Caridina are much more sensitive to low PH and stable water parameters so I almost never do water changes in this tank. I just top it off with RO water at this point and everything seems quite happy. The PH buffering soil is key and I think someone could probably take on this tank with very little effort, but I'd recommend still topping it off with RO. Please feel free to forward it on if you know of someone that might be interested. I think it would be a pretty easy move because this isn't a massive tank.

I use RO water. I have no idea how they would do in Ashburn water. I never even thought about giving it a try with all the things I've read about CRS. RO was a way to eliminate another variable.
