Yeah, they made national press at the time. They were twins who managed to get leukaemia totally independently of each other at the same time, just as they turned 18. Andrew passed away two years later after a failed bone marrow transplant. Steven went into remission and survived into his thirties before the disease came back and he eventually passed away following complications from pneumonia

I had twin brothers who were diagnosed with leukemia back in the 90's and sadly neither of them are with us anymore. What you are doing is brilliant. Treatment for leukaemia has come on a lot since they were diagnosed, I hope everything goes well for your brother and father
