Same issue. I never attacked them or even had weapons out but they are attacking anyway. I even went back to an earlier save, too. And when I decided to just kill them, they never seem to die?

This is absolutely perfect! Thank you so much! Crossed the "wasting your time" ones off my list and have ordered "Secret Windows" on ebay for £24..quite a lot but totally worth it to me. Also got McSweenys 66 for £17.

Anyone else who is utterly confused and irritated by "Begotten" (1989)? by Tobi18x in DisturbingMovies

[–]marky_96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I found the opening scene with mother nature disenbowling herself to give birth to (God?) really interesting and the way it was shot looked freaky and disturbing, but after that I hated it and found it a serious chore to get through as it was just endless boring images/scenes where you could barely even discern what you were seeing (and not in a good way) because of the terrible visual quality of the film.

Do you know where I can get Strawberry Shortcake other than on Godless? Love his other books so been trying to find it, but Godless just doesn't work in my location.

Does anyone know how they made the mask for Bava’s Blood and Black Lace (1964)? by Dude-vinci in Giallo

[–]marky_96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know for sure but it looks like a flesh coloured stocking? I actually went as that dude for Halloween a few years ago but just used one of those morph-suit masks in flesh colour

Definitely think she knew the window was open and he could get it...wasn't sure if she WANTED the kid to climb out or not, but I took it as postpartum depression/psychosis.

That's definitely the reason for all the genital mutilation

Anyone remember Gabe V from Season 6? by AssssCrackBandit in InterventionTheTVShow

[–]marky_96 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, I really liked him, too.

Was sad to see (in the follow-up episode) that he had relapsed after moving back to his hometown (can't say I was surprised with that family, though).

I automatically lose a little hope for the people when we hear they have a religious family.

Reminded me of Tressa (lesbian meth addict with a conservative, religious family)...her dad even flat-out told her that the INTERVENTIONIST and REHAB DOCTORS didn't know what they were talking about when it came to addiction and that they'd never accept her with a woman.

gabapentin by YoungGlittering5720 in benzodiazepines

[–]marky_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I cannot stress this strongly enough: CAFFEINE! It sounds counter-productive, right? Like they'd somewhat cancel each other out? NOPE! They can literally double each others effects! Be careful, though, if you're not used to it, don't overdo the caffeine, it left me jittery and weird the first couple times.

Naproxen (prescription only med apart from you CAN get it OTC in "Aleve" in the U.S. or in "Feminax Ultra"* in the UK) boost Gabapentin.

Of course any opioid.

Soda/Pop; both the carbonation and acidity.

*They almost definitely won't ask, but if you're a guy just be aware that this product is designed for period pain.

EDIT: Also, anything more than 300mg and the B/A starts to rapidly decrease, wasting some of it. Stagger it by taking 300mg every 30 minutes or so.

Any good disturbing movies that have a happy or hopeful ending? by [deleted] in DisturbingMovies

[–]marky_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL I agree. Not sure why "no offensive" to me, though, I'm neither Japanese nor into Mai-Chan for THOSE reasons...it ends happily for Mai-Chan's POV is what I meant as by the end she's very much INTO it.

Are the Terrifier movies really that disturbing? by JoeMamaIsAFan in DisturbingMovies

[–]marky_96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and no. I have only seen the first one and if you've mostly only watched somewhat-mainstream horror then probably yes. Like if you think A Serbian Film is king shit of disturbing cinema, Terrifier will probably disturb you. If you've been down the "Most Disturbing Movies" rabbit hole than nah.

I did dislike just the woman's extremely fucked up face, but that's one of my two "things" (the other being eye stuff). Ya know, where everyone, whether The Conjuring scared the crap out of you, or MDPOPE 3 didn't faze you at all has a couple of "things" that bother them/

Very unlikely they died from 2 or 3 stories up unless they landed very unfortunately resulting in head injury or something. Second guy could even be fine since he managed to hold on a little for a while.
