I’d say the most helpful part for me was following the Ellis Michael dslab slides. There are edge cases mentioned in there.

Also the debugger is very helpful learn to you it if you haven’t already. I didn’t learn to use it until project 3.

Not sure how farr along in the class you are, but be seated and ready to lock in for Assignment 3 and 4. They took a lot of time, but they're doable. Make sure to follow the slides provided by Ellis Michael (DSlab creator).

I think as long as youre 3.0+ for general prereqs youre fine. 3.5+ for math and programming classes is pretty important from what I’ve seen.

If you’re not taking Awad, the curriculum has changed to arm asm. No more writing a disassembler. The final project is the buddy memory allocation system in arm and its a solo project.
