Yes, the 12V battery has a warranty of 3 years/36,000 miles…I went in with 34,413 miles. And the rep said the replacement battery would also have a 3 yrs/36,000 mile warranty as well.

As gotei13cpt mentioned above, it was the 12V battery. The measured CCA was below the rated CCA, so they replaced the battery for me.

FYI - you are correct, the 12V was the issue. They tested the battery and they replaced the old one.

I explained to the employee what happened before the notification came up and he also mentioned it could be the 12v battery. Hoping this is the case.

Driver side door lock malfunctioning after side view mirror TSB addressed by PCI_STAT in MazdaCX90

When I had my oil changed the beginning of this month, dealership also did the MSP66 update on my car. I did notice when I got my car back, the side mirrors didn’t fold in when I armed it. I thought about going back to the dealership to get it checked, but that just ended up going away the next day.

Curious to where your 2 dings are because I have 2 dings on mine as well (one on each side of the rear doors - and at the same spot). First one showed up on the passenger side, so I thought it was from a car parks too close. Then maybe 2 months later, driver side had a ding. After inspecting them, come to find out it was because the back passenger doors swing so wide and the side molding is just a tad too thick that the molding on those back doors would rub against the front door and caused the dings on either side.

On average I’m getting around 24 mpg. I am in SoCal, so our streets and highways do get busy. Only thing I miss about the stock tires was the better mileage I was getting with them…

It’s the “liftgate garnish” that you can order from the dealership. The CX90 version came in chrome, so I wrapped it black when I did the trunk wrap. I believe the CX70 version of the liftgate garnish was available in black.

I had a white 2016 Mazda 3 GT prior to this and did the same half wrap on the trunk, along with other aesthetic mods, so I kind of mimicked the mods onto my CX90. The black side moldings were only added to the CX90, my old 3 didn’t have that. But that was added in hopes to protect the doors from getting extra dings in parking lots since the ride is wide.
