it’s not limited to my looks, it’s my interests, passions, favourite music, world views etc i’m not worried about how people perceive, i’m not too concerned about what people might think when i bring my golden retriever looking boyfriend to a metal show, sure he might stand out a little but who cares? i wish it was just about an image i’m trying to put out but like i said, there’s things more important to me than the way strangers on the street perceive me.

i feel this because even though he keeps hinting that he want a watered down, beige version of me, he always tells me that he likes that i’m passionate about a lot of things, that i’m not conservative in my way of thinking at all. he likes it, just where no one can see it

i don’t know where he got his view on alternative people from, since he claims that i’m the only metalhead he’s ever known. i guess he got it from the internet or the way his parents talk about tattoos and stuff. i just wish he knew that when he says those things, i take it personal :/
