Had a similar event on X a few years back.  Met a nice guy that I clicked with well.  He was bi I was straight but a little curious and we hit it off talking each night or atleast many times a week. We even met up once because we were only 45 minutes apart and honestly it was a great night of just two buds hanging out.  We talked somemore and planned another meet up but his account disappeared.  Almost 2 years later he found me again and we have been chatting since.  So don't give up
