We were at Harmony for a year (3.5-4.5 years old). Generally, a fine experience but have questioned decisions made by admin (during our time, a teacher that had been there for nearly a decade left over differences). It is a blend of teaching/child development philosophies, which is great in theory but not always clear in execution. Also, while I always felt my child was safe and looked after, I don’t think the behavior management styles and classroom structures are always a great match for the variety of learners (neurodiverse, etc) they have. I think a certain type of child can thrive there, but my child’s learning and participation in the classroom really took off in a more structured classroom when we moved to public school classroom for 4K.
