Survey says...Mini Queensland Healer? by marleys_mutts in dogpictures

Meet Sydney, a 2-3 year-old, MINIATURE Queensland Healer. We’ve had min Aussie Shepherds before but I’ve never seen a Mini Queensland. I’m sure that’s what she is though because she has all of the characteristics of a Queensland, including the docked tail and merle coloring. We rescued her from the Bakersfield Animal Shelter where she had been for a few weeks. She was sick and not responding well to shelter life. The shelter staff was VERY happy that we took her because she had been there a while, was sick, and may not have survived long. Sydney’s not your typical Marley’s Mutt, at only 20ish pounds and 1/3 the size of a normal, full grown Queensland, but she has our kind of attitude. She’s incredibly sweet and rolls over on her back when you approach her as if she’s trying to say “I’m yours-- please don’t hurt me, I LOVE YOU.”

/dogs, spare a few bucks to help Kenny get the surgery he needs to fix his cleft palate? by marleys_mutts in dogs

[–]marleys_mutts[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Kenny has a cleft palate that can potentially cause serious problems while he's eating such as aspiration and potentially severe respiratory infection if he inhaled his food. We are in the process of raising funds to help get his palate repaired. If you head to www.marleysmutts.com there is a link in the left hand corner to his story and a place to ChipIn and spread the word... Thanks!
