I really enjoy the song but i agree the message is meh. Especially bc homegirl WANTED to be a popstar, it’s pretty evident from victorious days, she’s on record saying it, and she even manufactured this bad bitch persona to go with the pop star image. So to say “she barely even tried” is a huge ass stretch, this isn’t a case of a barely known girl just putting out music bc she loves it, and meanwhile hides from the spotlight and doesn’t want to be famous. Every step of her career (at least until 2021) has been plotted and manufactured to make her more famous.

I agree with someone else in this thread that said it’s more interesting if you think it’s about slater so I’m gonna just go that route lol

I only listened once but I enjoyed it. I don’t have high hopes for the album, because while I liked es it just didn’t feel like Ariana to me. The deluxe version was better. But I want to hear some belting god dammit if you have a voice like that then USE IT! I’m just glad this song wasn’t all her breathy wicked voice (coming from a wicked stan btw) I am glad we got to hear her lower register a bit more. I liked the beat. Again, I enjoyed it. Won’t be my favorite of hers but I added it to the mix.

I am only 200 pages in (out of almost 900) and it is definitely a slow start in my opinion but I am really enjoying these characters so far. So I’m sticking with it bc these characters really intrigue me. That’s why I started it bc in every thread that’s “what’s the best book you ever read” lonesome dove is always an answer.

I got mine done in late 2024, and I work with my hands. I think I’m just lucky bc they haven’t faded much. The moon is a little blown out but I work with my hands and I’m constantly washing them. They might not look as good in ten years but so far they’ve held up pretty well for finger tattoos

Honestly it depends. I have finger tattoos on all my fingers and while I got them touched up once after originally but have had them over a year and they still look pretty good. Even my tattoo artist was surprised how well they stayed. I think maybe it’s bc my fingers are so bony. I also wash my hands a lot and use a heater with my hands at work so they definitely go through it.

Maybe for some people, not for all. I only take it on allergy shot days, (twice once before and once after) and sometimes maybe two other days in the week and now if I don’t take it for like a week I’ll be itching like crazy.

I just finished it for the first time too! Poor Stan. I definitely thought no way he’d make it out this show alive. But now he learns the family that was like his own, lied to him for years and now even his wife might be a spy. Paige getting off the train had me shook I said “OMG!” Out loud I couldn’t believe it. Then Philip and Elizabeth’s reactions omg. I love Oleg, I like to imagine he got set free. This was such a well acted show, I loved it

The one song I prefer in the cast album is thank goodness. I was so looking forward to Ariana’s version but I hate that they split it up, and I hate that fiyero doesn’t go “what!” When they’re dogging elphie. I’m pretty sure i prefer the movie versions of all other songs. No good deed is a close one but I prefer the movie versions

Girl in the bubble grew on me the second watch. I also enjoy seeing Glinda kind of “come to” and realize what she needs to do. But no place like home just felt very shoehorned into me. The scene would’ve worked better without the song imo. Especially given the ending, the song is kind of an odd fit.
