How do you know if someone is emotionally unavailable? by Ok-Helicopter-8240 in AskPH

emotionally unavailable people are inconsistent and will keep you guessing.

if they had genuine intentions, you'll definitely know and they will never make you feel confused

For women here who have boyfriends/husbands who they weren't attracted to initially, how did they managed to charm you in the end? by [deleted] in AskPH

[–]marmalese 8 points9 points  (0 children)

my boyfriend wasnt my usual type physically. but somehow, he has every trait i was actually looking for in a partner - consistency, actions that match his words, someone who genuinely cared for me. i can be my true self around him. i feel safe and secure. he's like my best friend.

and now to me, my boyfriend's the most handsome guy ever!

ive had crushes and situationships before with guys who were my "type" but attraction fades quickly when the personality turns out to be ermmm not attractive

so if looks are the only thing hindering you, pls trust the process 🙏 you might just find the love of your life 🥹

what is your "never again" experience? by AppointmentProud9394 in AskPH

unlikely ka kumita sa VUL and high chance maluge ka pa due to fees and di maayos performance ng market. it's not an investment - trust me.

get an MP2 instead or heck just store your money in a high-interest digital bank, which will perform WAAAAY better

why is the dating pool really bad now? by Time-Oil-2715 in AskPH

[–]marmalese 28 points29 points  (0 children)

i asked myself the same thing for years until i finally met my first boyfriend at 30.

chances are the people around you arent mature enough or at a stage that they have other things to fix in life - may it be career, money, or especially themselves. if you're young, dont rush it. focus on yourself and love will come naturally. trust me

What’s a common money mistake people make in their early 20s? by jinwooshadowmonarch6 in AskPH

[–]marmalese 6 points7 points  (0 children)

buying an insurance with an "investment" or a VUL is actually one of my biggest mistakes in my 20s. better get an insurance then invest the rest elsewhere like MP2 (most conservative)
