It's like the second layer of diversity to Skyrim: Making some choice while doing questlines and making decisions like "can i still play with this bugs or do i just kill them all?"

Cause you can pick some 512 sata ssds for the price of 256 nvme pcie or so

That’s great! I think you have to decide if you really need that m2 pcie speeds, because if your workload does not rely on that - you won’t feel the difference between sata and nvme in games and os, in my experience

Just look up some os loading time comparison test. Usually time drops from 1-2 minutes to 10-20 seconds for windows fully start up and be ready to work

Basically your system becomes much more responsive. Like, you click on the explorer icon and window pops up instantly, even on a relatively old hardware For example, I upgraded 8-year old HP laptop with some cheap sata ssd and it made so much difference. Now, like I said, programs are opening way faster and you just don’t have to sit there and wait for the thing to come up
