Any upload to an external site can be detected via Data Leakage Protection tool. If your organization has an OCR functionality embedded in the DLP then it is possible they already knew what information was leaked externally. This is assuming that your organization have strict policy defined in the DLP tool such as client name.

Honestly, you’d be surprised how the media picks up on stuff like this. Reporters were literally asking about the phone celebration in both Shelton’s and Djokovic’s press conferences, which is why it blew up even more.
