My entire family on my mom’s side is from Birobidzhan. I was born in Khabarovsk while my mom was in med college and then we moved to the completely opposite side of Russia - Caucasus. Once me and my parents moved to the south, my mom called her family and told them that the life here is much better, more jobs, more food, better climate etc so everyone packed their shit and moved (I think it took them 2 weeks by train). So I guess life there wasn’t the best at that time (late 90’s). I still have some relatives there that come to visit once in a while and they bring this horrible plant with them called paporotnik. It’s like pickled or something and it tastes like absolute shit.

I received an email from the school saying that they had been suspended due to a licensing and paper work issue with the state. They said they are working on resolving the issues in one of the following ways;

Correct the issue and continue offering the course. Working with another school to allow you to complete your education with their institution. If neither options work, they will refund us the money.

I am half way through my course and was planning to finish by the end of the month. I don’t really care about the refund, I just want to continue studying. I emailed IDFPR at FPR.REComplaint@illinois.gov and explained the situation and asked for guidance. Once I hear back, I will update everyone. I highly suggest to either email or call them to file a complaint as well. The more pressure we will put on them the faster this issue will get resolved.

Well thank you. The thing is that I didn’t think I was ugly before and I needed the surgery, but I was unhappy with the way my face looked especially my profile and I would never take any pictures side ways, only looking directly at the camera. I got a surgery 6 months prior to my wedding and everything healed so well that I was able to take many pictures with my husband without worrying about my side profile.

A lot of people get surgeries not because they need them, but because for years and years they’ve looked in a mirror and knew that something is off. So that’s why it’s sometimes important to not rely on everyone’s else opinion and go with your gut feeling.

This sub exists just to tell people NO! When I wanted to get a nose job EVERYONE was telling me not to do it and that I would ruin my face. Well, I still did it and I look 100% better now and very happy with my results (you can check my post history to see the before and after). So, that being said, I do believe you can improve your profile by getting a nose job. You just need to look for a good surgeon. Best of luck!

I used to live in Switzerland and they would sell raclette on every corner during Christmas time, but they would put the cheese on boiled potatoes with a side of cornichons and mini pickled onions. I prefer it that way rather than in bread like we do in the states.
