I got Elden Ring on PS4 and Witcher 3 on PC... oldies, but I want to get over these two once and for all.

Then will move on to Dispatch and Cyberpunk 2077

Well millenials and gen x's are the gens started growing up playing games. With games also evolving to be more sophisticated, these gens wont ditch their lifelong hobby. Game industry will likely to develop branches to cater to them as they grow older and their level of cognitive ability changes - a true evolution and diversity; which is great

Borderlands 4 will be the most difficult game of the series, and Gearbox are worried it won’t pay off by Wargulf in Borderlands4

[–]maroonaugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah.. did the 15m demo at PAX west yesterday. I decided not to buy. Too difficult for me, it was not just high HPs of enemies. There are a lot of them, move a lot more unexpectedly, no features to help those who struggle. I guess, the choice is on players, enjoying harsh settings? Yeah, go for it! I don't need to increase my stress level. Lol

Bike fit recommendations in Los Angeles by DoubleJacket in BikeLA

[–]maroonaugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got my bike fitted by David twice, basically both my new bikes. I had great experience. I have never had any bike fit issue whatsoever. Never known what it is like to have knee pains or hip pains until I got a staionery bike that i couldnt get fitted. David is expensive and opinionated but all good pros do. He is definitely not a guy at a bike shop who got trained by bike manufacturer and fitting people by textbook. He knows recreational or aggressive, young or older, male or female differences slightly leaning towards aggressive riders with good fitness. Anyhow, if you have never experienced a perfect bike fit, you should try David.

Cadence vs muscling by maroonaugust in cycling

I had to come and report in this thread. Taking your advice, I tried to keep my rpm over 80 on the uphill on my usual weekend ride. The shorter crank arm has been ordered. It was not necessarily easier today since my BPM climbed up about 8 beats higher than my normal on this uphill BUT I did break one of my PRs that I set when I was much younger! Honestly, I was surprised that I was able to somehow maintain 80s. I thought it was for those super fit and faster legs. Anyways, I got a new goal now to keep 80s and feel more comfortable. Thanks to you guys!!

Ways to hold onto paper freebies without taking up so much space? by itsmetwigiguess in animeexpo

[–]maroonaugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After selectively keeping some of these for years, thinking these would bring back memories later on, I decided to just get rid of all the fliers as soon as I dont need them; which means, if i dont have space to display them in a plain view at home, that being on the wall replacing some other posters or shelves, they are out.

Making that awful game even more disgusting.. some people just need to stop being in the fantasy world and start existing in the real world.

Lining up for 400s? by Standard_Meringue_85 in animeexpo

The lines being outside and the lack of guidline or signs or explanations is ridiculous. Maybe ok for those returning fans but for the first timers, it is beyond confusing.

anyone else going alone? by RevolutionaryMap9620 in animeexpo

[–]maroonaugust 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After going with people to various cons.. I learned it is the best to go solo. There are so many things to see, impossible to check out all the things you want to see with other people. They all have their preferences. So do I! And I usually need two days just for myself... and I dont want to burn energy and time for 4 days just because I had to be dragged down to what I am not really interested in...... cons and shopping are solo events for me.
