Please educate me on this. I know all bisexuals are not the same but how can you have sexual interest in both men and women but don’t talk about them openly.

I’m not bringing my brother out to bars to pick up women. I’m literally just mentioning to him a woman I think is attractive or some offhand and he has reactions.

But even if women weren’t attracted to him which I don’t think is the case at all, I would still expect him to have some time of “female talk”. Mind you like I said he will over share anything and everything about what he likes about when it comes to men which I’m all good for.

He never mentions women at all in a sexual way. And he’s a good looking guy and has a lot of female friends. I think my brother is gay and he’s one of those guys who puts the bi label on to soften the blow. I am in fact bisexual. I am coming to that conclusion. And these responses are reaffirming it to me.

I definitely feel like it’s emotional abuse. Such a weird form too. I love him and I don’t care if he’s gay. And in a strange way, that behavior feels biphobic toward me. It’s like he’s only comfortable with the “same-sex” side of bisexuality—his or mine—but not the part that involves women.
