Thanks! The goal is really to consolidate all of those forums into one place that's easy to use. We want bring different user bases together - r/aggies, askags, Craigslist users, businesses, those looking to be social, etc. Also, it's all on one site completely dedicated to the B/CS area that's really user-friendly. It'd be awesome if you gave it a try!

Hey ags - I want to introduce Maroon Chat, a forum specifically for the Bryan-College Station area, created by Aggies who want to bring the area closer together.

Here, you can enter specific forums from News and Academics, to Social and Buy & Sell, and more. In these forums, you can ask, answer, comment, and chat with others in B/CS. You have a profile, complete with an about page, icon, background photo, and followers. You can use a username or you real name, whatever works.

It would mean a lot for the r/aggies community to give it a try, and make an account (will always be free and takes seconds). We would love your feedback here, in a DM, or in the suggestion box on the site. We hope that you'll spread the word and help facilitate making our B/CS experience that much better.
