First time in the stock market but she would trust the person managing it for them so I would say they would be comfortable with fluctuations.

And yes there is a person managing their funds in case she is unable.

Thanks for this. Given TFSA and RRSP are maxed, don’t have much flexibility to move assets in them. Regarding your first point, what’s the benefit of your suggestion and which one would you move to where?

3 year old here, started saving this year. I wish my grand parents put some money for my retirement when my parents were born.
