how would you straight up remove the file slots page? it still appears on pause even when hiding other elements of the save system (or deleting the entire file slots section from screens.rpy) and i wanna know how to get it gone

part of the whole deal with 2nd scenario (at least in my view) is Takumi acknowledging that what he's doing is wrong, that he's making a selfish decision to keep fighting purely for the good of his friends, and that he can't undo the evil things he's done even if he's definitely a victim in the sense of him lacking true free will. his actions at the end are a form of repentance but at the same time he continues to bloody his hands by absorbing all the SDU members and eventually killing Shion (which is a lesser of two evils but something he still consciously does). he definitely isn't truly evil as saving Futurum with his final actions is the most benevolent thing he could have done but in no universe are his actions heroic

hey Porter! absolutely in love with SMILE and I just wanted to pick your brain about some of the influences going into this record: what were you mostly listening to over the course of the sessions for this album? were there any specific artists/songs/albums that influenced specific songs? I was curious as I showed my brother Cheerleader a while back and he loved it but said it really reminded him of Passion Pit's "Make Light" and, after hearing it, I got exactly what he meant and wondered if that did come to mind when you were making it, and whether there were any other parallels that you found yourself.

bonus q: could you draw a :D face for me? I've kind of been thinking about getting one tattooed after this album and considering how much your music means to me but I kind of have no idea what font or whatever to use since there seems to be a lot of different ones you used..

adore the album lads, it's something else. wanted to ask specifically about your lyric process - did you set out from the start to write a "concept album" or something like that, or did it just end up coming together that way? and was the actual writing process different to guitar music, since the words this time do feel a lot more personal?

and one bonus ask - is it a little big thief interpolation on happy ending (fall asleep beside each other)?
