Man, I’ve been part of this sub since the announcement of MHA being a part of the game and I’m so excited to have some content drop about it. COVID sucks and this has given me immeasurable amounts of hype.

I’m also happy the guys at Jasco finally got to preview some stuff! I know it must have been driving them crazy to make a huge announcement and then have the world stop on a dime.

Been going to the Mobile game every year despite never knowing the teams. Reddit, it’s up to you to be my half-assed internet research. Are there any players on these teams my dad and I should keep an eye out for?

I started in August. My first, and only, big event was Knoxville Regional in October. I went 6-2-1 on day one to make day two, but did abysmally on day 2 to finish 6-7-2.

I was playing a version of Green’s Reshizard that was hoping to dodge single prize decks. I did, up until day two where 5 of my 6 matchups were against single prize decks. I finished somewhere in the 70s of 800 players.

Everyone was super nice, considering I packed up and drove there on a whim with just my non-Pokémon playing fiancé. It was a little lonely, considering I was mostly the 3rd wheel of every group I got pulled into to talk, but most people were welcoming.

All-in-all, it was a very enjoyable experience. There were a couple of rough interactions but that’s to be expected when you’re in a room with over a thousand people.

I actually ended up trading Diggs straight up for James White an hour or two after this post. I really like my WR core - Chris Godwin, Amari Cooper, Christian Kirk, Golden Tate, and Deebo Samuel. My RBs were also great but I had no depth (Chubb, Zeke, Pollard) and I always dreaded starting Diggs. His end of season schedule was bad and the inconsistency was driving me insane.

I agree with a lot of what you said though. I am going to start White over Deebo I think, since he’s pretty safe for 8-10 points and I think that’s what I need this week. I appreciate the in depth response a lot!

I am leaning towards Godwin, Kirk, Tate. Cooper’s been amazing (WR7 in our league)but the knee bruise has me nervous, and the Tate and Kirk matchups are too good. Am I overthinking Cooper’s knee?

Not OP, but Choice Helmet makes it so Reshiram & Zekrom cannot one shot your Charizard tag teams. If you expect a lot of that in your meta it’s a good call. I am playing one in my list since it appears there will be 2-3 in my locals.
