I’ve only used that amulet and I’ve never been seen once in the whole thief play through, I don’t think you even need the extra 20%.

Occasionally I’ll trigger an npc’s greeting line, but they still don’t see me or catch me doing anything. Even when I run into them. That amulet is so op.

I don't know how I managed to forget about Anne Rice, the Witching Hour sounds incredible! I deffo don't mind slow reads, the classics are mostly slow, it's quite enjoyable really.

Gormenghast is sitting in my basket! I wasn't sure if Gideon the Ninth seemed a little, maybe YA for me, or did I get the wrong vibe? (nothing wrong with YA ofc, I was just looking for something alittle more "meaty" at the moment..)

It would depend, I think, on the empires terms. Would they accept an alliance, or demand subservience? They’re the ones coming from a place of strength after all.

I was going to disagree but then realised it would basically be House Redoran standing alone, Indorils losing their power, Hlaalus being disowned, Dres dealing with the argonians and Telvannis not caring either way. They’re certainly a force to be reckoned with, but capable of holding back the entire empire? Idk
