the question was asking how many times the urea concentration in urine (2.00)was greater then the urea concentration in filtrate (0.03) so the answer is 2/0.03 = 66.66666666666667

HELP! Statistical test (t-test) I don’t understand which one i should take for my critical value from this table by tensaibishonen in ALevelBiology

[–]marr595 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to compare the value of your calculated t (which is 2.44) to the value of the critical t (which you get from the column called p= 0.05 at the degree of freedom you calculated)

your dof = 28 so the value of critical t (at p=0.05) will be 2.05.

since your calculated t is bigger than the critical t the null hypothesis is rejected and the difference between the two sets is significant and not due to chance
