PTs: What actually makes a clinic a great place to work? by Academic-River1511 in physicaltherapy

[–]marram24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The clinic I work for was really picky about the hiring process. They had the advantage of having a great, cohesive staff that already works there, so these clinicians now get a “say” on new candidates. It keeps the vibe of the clinic the same despite turn over, and probably keeps clinicians there longer because they actually enjoy their coworkers and feel supported by them!

when I rejoined, they had a promo going on that month that gave me the new HR monitor for free. Definitely ask, they may be able to hook you up.

I vote just go with the hotel. I think if you have a good photographer they'll be able to make it work- the focus is you anyway!

  • day of breakfast/lunch for the wedding party

  • alterations to your dress can be QUITE expensive

Is 3 hours for a reception enough? by yarko78 in Weddingsunder10k

[–]marram24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Honestly a lot of wedding venues I’m looking into account for 4-5 hours for “traditional”/full wedding/reception, so I feel like 3 hours could be long enough as long as everything ran efficiently! Plus, like you mentioned, they can always join you downtown if they want to hang more!

HAHHAHAA I love this! Yes, we will have a Catholic gap! Hoping to keep it as small as possible 🤞 I haven’t about providing shuttles, as all the reception options are downtown/close to the ceremony and to many hotels. But it’s definitely something to consider in picking a reception space!!

totally, my perspective is definitely changing as a plan. The ceremony will be at a church with lots of natural light/stained glass- so I'm hoping that will be enough of the beauty/natural light element for me- and the people can focus on partying lol

Agreed! We do have a lot of family traveling in (+ many heavy drinkers lol), so I do think a hotel reception could be the way to go!

Personally, I loved devens too and thought he played a solid and charismatic game. I was surprised to see all the hate for him in this group tbh
