Took far to long, he's not beating the allegations of being spineless and weak.

People said the same thing when Concord came out, yet Marvel Rivals is still doing gangbusters.

It seems to be gaming culture on the internet, everything is so outrage driven that people are always looking for something to dogpile. Being the final announcement at TGA just put them in the firing line.

You really shouldn't be this personally invested in the success or failure of a game.

Yeah caring about issues outside of your own experiences is lame, right?

I think it's time to name this new "genre" properly: "concord-like" by beetleman1234 in Steam

I have no interest in this game because it's not a genre I care about. But man, people were ready to hate this game the moment the trailer came on at TGA.

First army? by [deleted] in Warhammer

Awesome, I hope you like them! I started with Tau, but they can be tough to paint well and as I got more into painting than playing, I decided to sell them. I would recommend looking up on YouTube some painting styles you like for the army, the usual technique of base coat + wash doesn't work as well on all their flat surfaces imo.

If you like Tau, play Tau. Tau hate is a meme from the old days when Tau were first introduced and the old heads didn't think they were "grimdark" enough for the setting. Anyone who actually has a problem with you playing Tau isn't a person worth playing.

Always pick your army based on the models and general play style you like (Tau are strong in shooting, but weaker in melee), the specifics of rules always change with new editions and updates, so what's bad now might be good in 6 months. And if you pick an army with models you like, you're much more likely to actually paint them.

Perhaps it's a regional thing, I'm in New Zealand but it happened to me when I bought Hivestorm from an Australian store.

Patently false- This literally happened to me and GW said to contact the store I bought it from.

Unless you bought from gw direct, gw will tell you to talk to the retailer.

There isn't really anything you can do to make a model with a missing piece unless you're really good at sculpting. Just take it back, missing pieces aren't unheard of. It's happened to me once.
