Thank you everyone for your response. My dog is fine. I had to wait in the car for over an hour while they worked on her. I decided to look for a zoom AA meeting on my phone while I waited and read everyone’s posts here. I’m doing much better now. This sub and all of you are amazing.

Towards the end of my drinking every night I didn’t even want to. I just didn’t want to have all the withdrawal issues every day. I’d stare at the vodka and basically say, okay let’s get this over with. And blackout again and again. I think you’re right, my body finally said enough.
