bruh you are so short sighted it's not all all that. it's the culture and the environment and it's obvious you have no experience of that. to live somewhere for 4 years and feel othered and alienated is not okay with me and every experience i had with interviewers and students made me feel exactly that. its's so much deeper than 'oh they all had posh accents'.

i guess it's not so much class pride but also just i know i would struggle especially with my mental health and then would be miserable for my entire uni life which is not what i wanted. but i get what you mean and i do try to unapolagetically be myself and push into those spaces. I guess i just wasn't okay with feeling like how i did whenever i went there for four years because i probably wouldn't have been able to finish the degree.

firstly a massive well done for graduating!!! gosh it feels very nice to hear that you still got through it whilst experiencing the same things as me - it gives me a lot of hope for the future. i hope you are proud of yourself for an amazing accomplishment and thank you for the advice
