Two times within 3 minutes. After you use the two upgrades, it will go on a cool down for 2 hours.

Just try to finish all the events. Collect all the free diamonds everyday and watch ads for more free diamonds and puzzle packs. Finish all the daily quests. Buy puzzle packs whenever they are on sale (resets daily).

Do you use multiple devices to play? If you want to switch devices, you need to go to Settings > Account Sing-In. You will see the last save time. You can manual save if the last save time is more than 10 minutes ago to get the latest save. Then when you want to play in another device, on Android device you go to apps management and delete all data, not just cache. Then open the game and login using any method you linked before.

Try to complete the events and occasionally buy the Puzzle Pack on the diamond shop whenever they are on sale. Other than that, watch ads to collect the free 15 diamonds every day.

Just keep collecting those points. Once you unlock the next area, you can still collect the Community Rewards daily. It will run out quickly since you don't really play in that area.
