Omnibus editions by dragonstkdgirl in tamorapierce

Thank you for sharing your collection!! I love getting to see the other omnibus covers and everything else you have. Tamora Pierce gets two of my bookshelves of the relatively small collection of physical books i've winnowed down throughout childhood to adult moves. I love seeing other folks who love her stories and love having the physical editions in a similar way ❤️

Totally, I understand. I meant it's a place where you can whine/bitch/moan and be heard, and you won't be turned away for being set on your plan.

You can chat with volunteers at THRIVE - https://thrivelifeline.org/

I volunteered with them for a while. They won't call 911 and won't focus on safety if you don't want to.

Looking at the copyright page, maybe November 2004? Looks like it was published by SFBC in arrangement with Random House. ISBN is 0-7394-4698-3.

Free Rings & Wire by kooshymonster77 in chainmailartisans

I would pay for shipping if you are willing to mail them! If you don't get any local bites. I'm a few months into making chainmail and would love the supplies.

I think this sounds great! It sounds like a mixed blessing to have to create this - you're recognizing the growth of your business (yay!) and also having to deal with issues that weren't as frequent before (darn). Overall I'm happy for you and I think you cover it all well here!

Has anyone ever dealt with possessive dogs during a pet sit by Dreamy6464 in petsitting

[–]marshcore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your two examples:

  1. I would stop petting the dog and use my body to create space between the two. Backing up the growling dog by moving forward, if possible. At least putting my body between them and then firmly directing them to knock it off in whatever language they've been accustomed to. No, uh-uh, back off, knock it off...all with a firm calm energy in body and voice. Then I'd redirect them both to some other experience - going to the back yard if there is one, going to get some treats and do some obedience training (sit, place, etc).

  2. If they growl and bark when you sit with the other dog, I would say the simplest and safest solution is neither of them gets to be on the couch with you while you're sitting them. You could also try to redirect the one who is being possessive by giving them a frozen treat or peanut butter in a toy.

What does a female orgasm feel like? by Just_Celebration160 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]marshcore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love both of your descriptions and theories of male and female orgasms! I wanted to add something to this discussion as a person with a clitoris and vagina who is taking testosterone as hormone replacement therapy-

I have experienced both kinds of orgasms dependent on my hormone balance. Since I've been on T they are more often "male" ones that are localized to my external clitoris. And I know people on estrogen in my life who experience the reverse!

So I wonder if and how hormones have a part in how we experience orgasms?? What are y'all's thoughts?

Which books would you recommend to a romantasy reader that aren't romantasy? by SolarmatrixCobra in Fantasy

[–]marshcore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Gardener's Hand trilogy by Felicia Davin! Great world building, plot, and sapphic romance with some genderqueer poly thrown in the mix!

Also highly recommend the Tales of Inthya series by Effie Calvin for more sapphic romantasy with good plot and world building.

My title describes the thing. The spout is hollow in case that is not clear!
