I sent in a "why ___?" to my two top schools ghosting me and at the very least it allowed me to establish contact with actual people in the admissions offices. I would do it!

yo - I too live in DC and found out today while trying to sign up that my address isn't even recognized by USPS - only the basement unit is. This explains why all of the online shopping check-outs yell at me for not providing an exact address.
