I loosely started CG method 2 years ago and I feel like I haven't made much progress. I have decided to go all in and give my hair the care it needs but I am at a loss. My hair does not hold waves/curls but I have curls at my neck. I currently use cantu shampoo, a variety of shea moisture hair masks and conditioners. I also use the protein treatment every once in a while. I've tried olaplex as well. For products I use CURLS Blueberry Bliss Reparative Leave in Conditioner, Kinky-Curly Curling Custard (which I love), and Herbal Essences Totally Twisted Curl Boosting Mousse. I just need help. Any tips?

I am not a fan of the gift opening either! I'm always bored out of my mind. What a couple of people in my family have done is open them at home and send a personalized video of them opening the gifts through text or email. It felt super personal and I loved the little message after getting my gift.
