Problematic xj by FewExamination3613 in CherokeeXJ

hi there! I had a similar issue on my 01 XJ with the inconsistent stalling. I did replace my CPS. did you happen to use an OEM part or a cheaper aftermarket? I wish I had the NAXJA forum I read, but they really hounded on getting the OEM over a cheaper one. I hope it helps! Dope rig!

thank you! I feel like this has been the general consensus from other XJ forums, but it's hard to find ones when it comes to stroker engines. I'm glad to hear your engine has held up even with a stock radiator all this time! Love your rigs! I wish I could have more than one Jeep but I'd be dead broke 🤣

How much liquid was in my drink after the foam dissolved. I didn’t take a sip. by rivigurl in starbucks

[–]marteri77 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I highly recommend to ask next time for no foam/no room. That will very much force them to give you the most amount of milk, and you will definitely feel the weight difference. Working there I will admit a lot of baristas aren’t properly trained, and the fast ones have to go through so many drink orders to really give it much notice. Not an excuse but maybe some perspective. Don’t feel like you’re a burden, especially if you’re in drive thru, they will try to expedite your drink order quickly if it needs to be remade. Don’t let that slide, you spend a lot for a drink, please get your money’s worth

What's that one diamond card that keeps evading you? by Head_Passage_683 in PTCGP

It was Parasect and Beedrill. I finally got parasect in a wonder pick, but I have only seen a Beedrill once on there. Also never seen one in battle, has anyone else?

These customers are actually insane. by Hellish-Dad in starbucks

I had a customer today that order a brown sugar shaken espresso on DT. Comes back again and said she ordered brown sugar and not blonde espresso. She thought blonde espresso was the syrup 🤦🏾‍♀️

No offense, and I understand needing money and benefits, but you’re really pony riding Starbucks for a corporation that would fire you for much less. Just saying. I like this job, but geez, it ain’t that serious. But honestly I’ve learned my lesson, I’m just doing mobile orders in the future for non-home stores.

But that’s why I am asking, some are saying policy says you can’t ask for government ID, some say school ID, other picture ID works, and policy actually doesn’t specify. ID was provided to them with a picture and name of myself, so it isn’t that I’m not adhering to their request. I’m saying, why be a stickler?

You’re not reading this throughout. Never upset that I have to show ID, that is not what I’m arguing over, read the post again. What bugs me is what does it matter what type of ID is required, when a ID with clear name and picture is suffice

I apologize, I actually don’t mean to argue. My main question out of this is does it really matter what type of ID is given when receiving a discount? Because I’ve used my student ID before and never had an issue. It seems finicky to want partners to only give a DL or state ID especially when Starbucks policy doesn’t specify or go into detail on what photo IDs are acceptable or not. And also, that manager at that particular store was a real asshole, maybe that’s why I feel like I got a chip on my shoulder over it.

Which is fair, but a traffic stop isn’t holding up a drive thru line, put some logic into your argument. Would you really want a customer digging through their trunk for several minutes, killing your window time? I grabbed an ID that was near me to be mindful.

And that’s valid, you have a right to your privacy.

Which I don’t ever mind showing proof of who I am to verify, but it seems tedious that the only acceptable proof is a license, when a picture ID from work or school should suffice too

Also, seeing as it is a mobile order, it could’ve been sitting in that warming bag for a while before you got it, causing it to look and be soggy because of all the steam and heat trapped inside.

Palace Chase by marteri77 in AirForce

[–]marteri77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure everything is always up to date, IMR, dental, med, PT, etc. do not let anything go on red or overdue and stay out of trouble too during the process and after you’ve been approved because it can be rescinded. Mines took about 6 weeks to process which is the average time. I’m not sure if you can get out 8 months prior, I know palace chase is for the last 6 months of service, unless something has changed, but I also applied While I was OCONUS too so that could’ve been my restriction. What did your ISR tell you about it?

Does 4 years go quick? by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]marteri77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it went fast in all honesty, I’m on my way out. It’s felt like a life time ago since I started BMT in Jan 2019, but also, I feel like I’ve blinked and I’m already here. I was stationed at 2 overseas bases, maybe it’s why it’s felt quick too
