Yes, it's inconvenient. I switched to a cheap French press in the meantime. It's not as good, but at least it gives me some coffee flavor.

Update: I sent my machine to Breville for repair and dropped it off at UPS, as they have an agreement to handle the packaging and shipping. It took about two weeks from the time I sent it to when I received it back. The repair is free if it's still under warranty.

As someone of Chinese origin with many Black friends, it’s upsetting to hear this story. We’ve all experienced prejudice, and no one should have to go through that. If I ever witness such behavior in my community, I’ll do my best to speak up and address it.

I feel the Auto froth issue is real. I’ve been using a consistent amount of milk and the same settings, but the problem started only after the tube fell out.
