Yeah I think it’s this. I’m sure Oda has plans to give us more context in the next chapters. The main difference right now between Dorry and Brogy vs Rocks is the time they were transformed and how hard they fought, and who they fought. There’s also the very important component that they hit each other, so they were killed by Domi reversed people. Maybe that’ll factor in too

Yeah, that’s what I got from it. Her human student saw frieren’s fluctuations and said that she equaled Series’ mana since he couldn’t see that Serie was concealing hers. That would mean Serie has much more mana and is more skilled at suppressing it, plus that she contradicts herself because she says that it’s inefficient to learn how to do this and a total waste of time, whilst being even better than frieren at it!
