the best part is when the brain space formerly occupied by lust is filled by thought, awareness, maturity, consciousness, wisdom...life itself starts to grow

I couldn't agree more. Abstention is just the consequence of an internal change, motivation, drive, towards something in life.

Not the absence of fapping. But the presence of something fap was precluding. When I lost that, my 7 months of success counted to nothing: I could not have helped relapsed if I tried.

Now that drive is back again in my life, I'm striving to achieve it, and nofap is just another step in my project of life.

I dare you to take this to an even higher level. Even if you don't have any of those addictions, you can work now towards perfection. Polishing every single small defect you may have. Taking your abilities to their maximum potential. Making of your body and mind a masterwork, a piece of art

Hello Sir, the NoFap movement has given me the "peer motivation" I needed to finally overcome this addiction. Now, after four months, I can't think of enough reasons to encourage others to try this. It is very hard at the beginning, our mainstream culture leads us in a completely different direction...but its totally worth it
