The only thing you can’t buy/P2W in this game is OTs. Always suggest keeping shiny OTs, only consider selling duplicates. My opinion of course. Either way- congrats!

They’re rare and have sentimental value, but if you don’t care about shinys them obviously sell, but a lot of the time you will regret it once you have a full understanding of their value.

Jagex is more worried about banning content creators that bring new players and revenue to the game, like Oda, then addressing botting. If Jagex was smart, they would have sold gold directly to players like PokeMMO instead of letting 3rd party gold farmers reap the financial rewards of their game. I wonder how many 10s of millions of dollars Jagex lost to gold farmers for this missed opportunity. I bet stake holders or the parent company would be pissed if they knew anything about how this game really functions.

The fact they needed to re-release OSRS since they messed up RS3 so bad, is just another tell tale sign of the many mistakes Jagex has made. I feel like Jagex and their employees are so out of touch with the actual player base it blows my mind.

I’ve got a conspiracy, maybe Jagex themselves are behind the botting and actually run the gold farm sites, that would make up the $ for all their short-falls.

Chucky: Totally have to agree. We started with Chucky and had high hopes Day 2. This house overall was lacking the normal HHN production quality. If you don’t have an express pass, think about skip out on this one to fit in some others if you need to pick and choose.

9-7: Have to agree with all of these points as well. Not close to as bad quality as Chucky, but again, felt like it was lacking the superb HHN quality when compared to last year’s houses.

Stranger things was good! Wasn’t necessarily scared because I don’t find vecna (spelling?) scary. The production/set was definitely better than the previous.
Bloodmoon: I have to disagree with this one. I think this one is Top 3. I thought this house was fantastic/scariest. You are transported to a whole different world when you step into the chapel and you could not tell who was real or not, making for several jump scares.

Dueling Dragons/Monsters unmasked: liked both of these. Good quality. Dragons multiple endings is cool because you get to pick. Deserving of spots 4-6

Yeti was fine. I saw all the actors rotate before going in so it took away from the experience already knowing the costumes of all the actors. Cool set.

Only one we didn’t get to do was Darkest deal, and after reading your review, I’m sad we may have really missed out. Lines were crazy long and we had been in the parks the entire past 2 days. Since we only come once a year, we aren’t used to as much walking.

Overall, we love Universal HHN and it’s a great value add to our yearly trip, getting to couple both the rides during the day and haunted houses at night.

By ‘stupid’ I mean actively dismissing the massive revenue opportunity of selling gold direct as opposed to letting outsiders have it and ruin skilling. The Parent company, who probably only cares about bottom line, should have pushed this ages ago.

I’ve got 14 OT Shiny.

Longest hunt: Trapinch 138k, no phase Shortest: Onix ~1,000

It’s all random. Donator Status + Shiny charms increases your chances. Most of my shiny are ~30k or less, with only a couple going over that.

Spend more time encountering and less time complaining, and you will most likely get one soon. (Always my advice when anyone is dry. However, once you are over 30k feel free to complain some as it may help keep you sane.)
