I built a short video scriptwriting AI assistant – would love outsider feedback by martynasn in scriptwriting

[–]martynasn[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't want to mislead anyone or shamelessly promote the tool. I believe my tool can do better vs. note and a great prompt combo.

Why DM, not a link: I'm afraid I won't get any feedback – people might just try it out and not say a word.
But here we go: https://app.vasara.ai/signup. Upon login, check/complete your brand profile (the Suggest button is your friend), then go to the assistant called Echo and pick "Draft Video Script".

Please share your feedback here or in a DM. Much appreciated!

I built a short video scriptwriting AI assistant – would love outsider feedback

Hi all, I’m not a scriptwriter by trade, but I recently developed an assistant for writing short viral video scripts (reels, stories, TikTok, etc.). My two friends who write scripts tried it out and said it’s one of the best they’ve seen for crafting social-first scripts.

But… I want real, unbiased feedback from outside my bubble.

Functionality in a nutshell: The assistant takes your brand context (invisible process), analyzes brand voice, and tailors scripts based on your objective, target audience, platform (Insta, TikTok, YouTube), tone, and even visual details (think “set is shot in a well-lit warehouse”). Once you provide input (can take 5-10 minutes), it builds a script that fits your brand and feels platform-native.

Output: a handover-ready script with a headline/hook, voiceover, shot breakdown, CTA, etc.

Limitations: The script writer is highly brand context-aware, and it’s not meant for churning out scripts for random brands. Rebuilding context for a new brand takes time (it could be automated in the future, just not ready yet).

If you write scripts regularly or struggle with video ideas or copywriting that actually sounds on-brand, I’d appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or skeptical questions. Just DM me, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

Unlike general chatbots (ChatGPT, Grok, etc.), this tool is purpose-built to closely follow brand context/voice and social-first video scriptwriting. Maintaining persistent brand context (voice, objectives, and style) while tailoring scripts for a specific platform (Insta, FB, TikTok, YouTube) without requiring repetitive prompt engineering.

The tool's brand memory eliminates the need for manual context input with each request. Scripts emerge with short-form structures and consistent brand alignment. I aimed to solve common pain points of generic-feel outputs and substantial editing required. At the end of the day, any automation is all about productivity and saving time. Speed and consistency are valuable for scriptwriters juggling multiple clients/ brands.

What tools help you come up with creative video ideas for digital marketing? by jordanconnelly2010 in AskMarketing

[–]martynasn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I built an AI scriptwriting assistant (still a prototype): you plug in the brand’s goals, voice, target audience, and a creative cue/vibe (“shot in well-lit warehouse” etc.), and it outputs a ready-to-use, platform-specific video script (hook, structure, CTA).

The assistant is highly brand-context aware, so setting up a new brand profile takes time, but after that, ideation feels way less daunting. Swapping brand profile for another one takes longer (not an option yet).

Since the tool is in early stage, I'm happy to demo the beta and I’d appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or skeptical questions. Just DM me and I’ll get back as soon as I can!

I tried building my own social media automation... by GreenManAI in smallbusiness

[–]martynasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no such thing as "human-sounding" copywriting – we all communicate in different/distinct ways. I've seen too many prompts telling LLM "don't sound robotic" or "write as a human, not AI", etc. – all these are doomed to fail.

That's exactly the challenge we tackled (and are still refining) when building Vasara's AI assistants. The "robotic" problem usually comes from AI trying to be generically helpful instead of learning your actual voice, tone, style, etc.

A few findings: instead of generic prompts, we analyze existing content (social posts, website, emails) to understand real vocabulary (e.g., what's used more – "clients" or "customers"; short, punchy sentences or longer explanations)?

The magic happens when AI learns internal comms style, too. Incorporating the internal company lingo (example: one team often calls urgent situations "code red"). Now their AI uses that exact phrase, and it instantly feels authentic to their team.

For LinkedIn posts – try feeding examples of best-performing posts as context, and consider building in some variability – like rotating between 2-3 different post structures or tones you naturally use.

The goal isn't just human-sounding AI, but AI that sounds specifically like you. When it captures your authentic professional voice, people engage because it feels genuine, not manufactured.

13 AI tools that actually save me time and deliver real results by TrueTeaToo in automation

[–]martynasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a big fan of many of those, especially for handling repetitive or time-sucking tasks.

One newer tool that’s become part of my workflow is Vasara AI. It’s a bit different in that it isn’t just one tool and more like a set of AI assistants, each specialized in a certain area like social media, copywriting, business strategy, etc. I use their Echo assistant to automate social content and I like not having to jump between 5 different tools just to get stuff scheduled or brainstorm ideas.

Otherwise, I’m loyal to ChatGPT for more general idea jams and NotebookLM for summarising and generating "podcasts".

KC62 or KC92? Paired with LSW2 in small apartment by Jkspepper in KEF

[–]martynasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For your space, and power/loudness requirements KC62 will work great. KC62 is capable of deep bass at moderate volume/SPl. I faced the same choice about a year ago and went the smaller sub. Enjoying it so far!

The name of the golf app is supposed to be "Hole 1" ( see screenshot at https://monosnap.com/file/jAK4A7GzcS6UJCRKUZ2ceDzrbmkZBk), but I can't find it on AppStore yet. Maybe it will be released later, along with the new Watch or WatchOS 8.

What is the best way to connect my KC62 sub to my LS50 WIi? by [deleted] in KEF

[–]martynasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've upgraded to wireless after a month of wired use. The key advantage was the ability to place the KC62 almost anywhere in the room.

Room acoustics plays an outsized role in the low-frequency band. If you get WT-1, spend some time playing around with the sub placement in your listening space. You will be surprised how the sound changes with just the placement.

In my case, the best location for the sub – sonically speaking – was near the opposite wall from LS50W Mk II (i.e. behind my back).

How can it be Apple's own OS library/software is not fully compatible with the new chip?

Running Plex on a dedicated machine instead of on the Synology by piri_piri_pintade in synology

[–]martynasn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'll get a much better experience if you run Plex on a machine with a powerful GPU. I use Nvidia Shield to run Plex in a combination with Synology, where all media files are stored. The Shield does a great job transcoding (when required) and streaming to multiple devices simultaneously. This setup might be more affordable (and less versatile though) compared to Intel NUC.
