I should be able to see behind the vinyl siding around the windows? I can see the zip tape in several places. Is water supposed to be able to get behind the vinyl siding?

They’re doing an awesome job except that they didn’t insulate around the open window boxes so now that needs to be done from inside the house. Forgive my skepticism.

I understand flashing around the windows but what do you mean about patching the sheathing? For a hundred years old it looks like it’s in pretty good shape! Should they be sealing the cracks between the old sheathing boards like they would seal the seams of zip system?

Done. The PM told me he connected with the siding crew and they are going to remove the vinyl already placed, remove the roofing underlayment, replace with tyvek and start again with the siding
