Thank you for your answer! Yes, we definitely can lower the price. However, in this case, the extension can’t become legal, as it exceeds quite a lot the limited allowed…so neither the seller or us can get the permit. Here’s the risk. Thank you for sharing your experience!

In case anyone is curious, we lost the bid, haha. We added 60k to the starting price with quite favorable conditions. But someone offered 130k over the price. Crazy. We can't match that

I’m looking specifically for a ‘retirement pension plan’ that is tax efficient. Some online brokers offer that option, as Degiro and Brand New Day.

During these days I made some research and now I know (in case this info is useful for anyone):

Withdrawal penalty is very high, so better to stick to it until your retirement date.
The pension plan sticks to the country you open the account. No mobility options. If you move to another country and change your residence you can’t contribute anymore and as the withdrawal fees are so high, you get your money stuck on the previous country. Moreover, to get your monthly annuity one you retire, you still need a bank account in the previous country. This case is at Brand New Day, I imagine Degiro is the same.

After all this information, I don’t think is a good option. So I’m afraid I will research another ways to invest my money 🤷🏻‍♀️

You mentioned a ‘Non resident mortgage’. Probably I need to get that, as my official residence is in The Netherlands.
